What do you hope for next time (if there is a next time)?

Me, I'd love for Kate to have a sister. I loved having a sister and I want her to have the same thing. At the same time, I really want to have a boy. But I most definitely DO NOT want two more kids!

Good thing we don't get to choose gender...I'd be torn

I really wanted a girl, but we have two boys. In retrospect, I LOVE having two boys so someone knew better than me what was right for our family.

i wanted three at first..two boys and one girl ( i was afraid of having too many girls in the house) but i would LOVE to have at least one boy (DH is the only boy in his family) but he has two sisters and they dont get along ALL the time, but they are VERY close and i would love DD to have that, but they are all close so whatever Go gives us, I will be perfectly happy with

I want a girl. DH and I always planned on having 4, but now that we have one, we're thinking we'll see how it is with 2 and go from there. I want at least one of each, so if 2 is complicated and we don't want to have any more, I'd like to have one of each.

Ideal would be 2 of each, but we don't really get to pick. I'd be ok with a second boy because I do want my son to have a brother, but I'd like two boys and two girls so I can have both genders and both can have siblings of the same gender.

I hope my second is a boy so that I can have a third and not worry about the gender. In the end, I won't care though. Healthy and happy baby is #1 of course.

I got exactly what I wanted: a boy and then a girl. If we were to go for a third, I really wouldn't care which sex we got, although I suppose I could hope for a boy just because DH would love to have another "future sports prodigy" to work with

My husband has wanted a boy each time I was pregnant. He never really had his dad around and he always wanted to have a son to go and do things with. I wanted a girl with the first 2 but for the third I really wanted a son but knew a daughter would be great too. I love that my older 2 girls will play together for hours (like they have been ALL day today) and soon enough the little one can join in with them. A boy wouldn't want to play dress up, play with dolls etc like my older 2 so he would possibly be more lonely, I don't know. My husband has always wanted a lage family but I say I am done with 3. IF we were to have one more (highly doubt it since we might have custody of his 10 year old sister before we know it) I would love to have a son.
