Diaper Poll for Huggies OR Pampers users:

Someone told me that Pampers work better for boys and Huggies work better for girls - or maybe it was the other way around. I can't remember now, but I'm curious, so...

1. Which do you use, Pampers or Huggies?

2. Have you ever tried the other brand, or did you just try (insert answer from #1 here) and stick with them because they worked well?

3. Is LO a boy or a girl?

I have a girl, and I use both, but prefer pampers swaddlers. I will say I have not had a single leak or blowout with the huggies, and I have had several with pampers.

1. We use the kirkland brand but when we're inbetween sizes (they don't have a size 2) we use pampers swaddlers.

1. I use pampers.

2. I have tried Huggies. Someone gave us a pack and I didn't want to waste them. I HATED THEM!! They were not as big and they leaked pretty badly.

We are currently using Huggies because we received them from someone, but I plan to purchase Pampers in the future.

We have 2 girls. THe hospital where we had them uses pampers, so that's what we used in the hospital, but always, always, would have blowouts or leaks. We use Huggies Supreme and love them! I don't even care that we pay a little more..to me it's worth it because we don't experience blowouts or leaks.

I'm glad you like Kirkland. A CW gave me 200 size 1 Kirklands, so I'm crossing my fingers that they'll be good!

I use both (we buy whatever is on sale if they are cheaper than Sam's). We have had leaks with pampers, but not with huggies. I don't know maybe we just needed to up the size DS was wearing at that time. I really like both brands.

2. Yes and they were awful. We used one whole bag and he leaked constantly. I can count the number of leaks/messes with Pampers on one hand.

1. We have been using Huggies (and have about 20 more to run through) & then are switching to Pampers because of leaks.

I have a boy, and have used both. They both seem to work fine for us-we used the pampers swaddlers newborn and then my in laws bought us a ton of huggies, so we've been using those.

1. Pampers Baby Dry during the day, Huggies overnites at night.

2. We tried huggies NB we were given, and she leaked/blewout every single time. Loved Pampers NB though. When she out grew those, we tried Huggies NB again and they fit better, so we wore those as an inbetween size between pampers NB and sz 1. Since then, we've only bought pampers, but love huggies overnites at night. She can go 12 hours without leaking!

I have a girl. I have used both pampers and huggies. I prefer pampers cuz they feel so much softer and I think she must be more comfortable in them. DD leaked a few times in the pampers (we haven't used huggies enough for her to leak in them) but then we moved her up to the size 1-2 which seemed to correct the problem.

I'm not opposed to using huggies...if we have a coupon, I'll buy them. I'm not terribly picky. They do the job. However, I will never use generic wal-mart brand which MIL bought me for one of my showers-they felt like cardboard!

I use pampers at night and either Luvs or Huggies during the day. I usually only buy huggies if they are on sale. If pampers were cheaper I would use them all of the time. I have tried BRU generic brand and they are horrible. They leaked all of the time. I also have used Wal-Mart's brand and they leaked once a while. Luvs usually only leaks when DD is in them for a long period of time hence why we use pampers at night.

I use Pampers. She has an occasional blow out. I just decided to try a bag of Huggies and I used them for about a day and DD has a really bad rash all over butt and area now so I stopped using them. I'm not sure if that is what it is from so I'll try them again once the rash is gone. I prefer the fit of Pampers as well. I have a girl.

Boy, and we use pampers. I really do not like huggies. We have always found that wets/poops right through them.

1. Right now, we're using Pampers Swaddlers, but I have and will use Huggies Pure & Natural until we start cloth diapering in the next couple of months.

2. Actually, ds just had a major blowout in the Pampers Swaddlers, but he's also leaked out of the Huggies P&N (size Newborn). He's in size 1 in the Pampers, and I'm not sure if maybe they're too big?
