What to do with 5 1/2 month old?????

I need some serious help. I have one bored baby! DS needs constant stimulation and I am out of ideas for games, toys, outings. I am trying out a work from home gig that doesn't pay yet but will eventually but that requires that we stay in a couple of days a week so I can try to get some work done while he plays independently or during naps ... so toys or activities we can do at home are especially appreciated. We do a music class and story/music time at the library once a week. He has an exersaucer, playmat, bouncer -- all of which he enjoys but he gets bored with after a few minutes.I feel horrible but I find myself watching the clock until naptime b/c I don't know what to do with him!! Thanks for any suggestions :) We also live in South Florida so it's about 95 degrees here during the day so our outside options are limited.

    My DS is just starting to sit up, so we've been playing with balls and such while he 'sits'...which usually ends up in him falling over LOL.

    i need ideas too....

    DS doesn't like the exersaucer right now....he likes the jumper for short periods....

    we play 'look at the dogs' and he laughs...

    the ball thing sounds good.  we try things where he can grab things (he can grab his sippy cup and has drank from it).  He likes to hold stuff.  This is scary when I'm feeding him and he wants to hold the bowl or the spoon.  They just definitely want to try to grab things.  When I take him in the car, I give him a toy to play with.
