Thai Food recommendations?

Hi Ladies,

I'm going for Thai food for lunch tomorrow with one of my friends for the first time.  Anything you'd recommend for a thai food virgin?  I like pretty much anything, just not super-spicy.

 TIA!

Pad thai is a thai staple and really good.  Not too spicy.

Ours has a thai version of beef and broccoli which is so good.

  • Mmmmmmm! I always have a dish that has chicken cashewes and pinapple as well as a variety of tasty veggies! At my fav thai place it is uniquely called "Thai Chicken Cashew". If you find something similar it is amazing and sweet and savoury rather than spicy.

  • Pad Thai is fantastic, coconut soup is good and angel wings
  • Ditto the Pad Thai. It's yummy!

  • My personal faves are Tom Yum soup and Thai basil chicken.  You can usually choose how spicy you want your food on a number scale.

Where I go (which you had better send me some!) they let you select the level of spice.  Enjoy!

  • Pad Thai isn't spicy at all and super yum!

If you can specify how spicy you want it Tom Yum Goong is a tasty sweet and sour type soup.

Pineapple Fried Rice is also super yummy, Ginger Chicken, I could go on and on Smile
