I swear, every time I call with a question, they hem and haw and don't sound very knowledgeable. I just called to ask when to start yogurt (she doesn't go for her 9 month visit until she's almost 10 months so I wanted to find out before the visit) and she said "I guess around 11 months, that sounds like a good age." That's not very re-assuring!!
Re: Why does my pedi office never sound confident with their answers?!
I hate that - I've experienced that with every doctor's office!
FWIW, I got the ok for yogurt at 6 months.
You are fine to give her yogurt now. We have been doing yogurt since 8 months.
And that is really annoying. I would be irritated as well.
