Disney Girls- Character Dining

There is a great restaurant at Epcot that has the Characters walk around.  They will spend a good amount of time at the table with you- there is Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, and maybe some others, I can't remember.  It's inside the building called "The Land"- upstairs above the entrance to Soarin.  It is actually really good food- one of my favorite restaraunt's there- an all you can eat, family style restaurant, so come hungry!  I can't remember what its called, Garden Grill or something.  Anyway, if you come at an off hour there is not usually a wait.  We learned on our last trip that they actually only take a couple reservations for each hour at each restaurant, but you can usually walk right in if it's not a peak meal time.  The veggies are fresh and grown on property in their hydroponic garden- which you should really tour, it's cool!  That is a boatride downstairs below the restaurant and there is not usually a line b/c no one knows it's there.

    Also, the Beach Club's Cape May Cafe was AWESOME. We made reservations at Thanksgiving, got in with NO wait and had the best meal. There was no Mickey, but there were tons of others that Nate loved and they spent way more time with us than at Chef Mickey. I so love a character breakfast!

    You all need to start some page or something with all this info. ? I am in no hurry to go to Disney, but I know its inevitable at some point. ? I'm gonna want to know all of this. ?

    You're right it's Garden Grill. Some others we've gotten into easily are O'hana's breakfast and Cape May Breakfast.

    This is where we did our character dining when DH and I went for our 1st anniversary.  We saw each character at least twice and they spent a really good amount of time with us, too.  The food was really yummy.  I liked how it was a family dining restaurant, too.
