anyone take temp multiple times in a row?

So because my chart and everything is a "little" off this month i took my temp 3 times in a row this morning. first time 97.51......second time 97.28 and the 3rd time 97.46. WTF!!!!

I took it in the same place in my mouth w/o moving my body...yadda yadda yadda....

I think I may be investing in a new thermometer today!

    my temps have been all over the place and not following any sort of rule, I was wondering the same thing..maybe I need a new thermometer...or maybe my body is just whacked out this month

    I did the same thing with my 2 thermometers the other day because my temps have been varying more this month.  I was not lying in bed when doing this (sitting on the sofa), but I wanted to compare the difference in my temp between the two thermometers.  Each time it varied by a different amount. It was never consecutive.  Some times my new thermometer was a higher temp my .4, sometimes my old thermometer was higher by .6.  It was never the same.
