Baby crack machine questions

There are several reviews on Amazon.com that says the projector breaks within a few months of use.  Anyone have this problem yet?  Can you use the sounds without using the projector?  And is there an option to leave the sound on all night?  Thank you!

    not sure about the projector- only had it a few weeks.

    Yes you can use sounds alone and you can leave it on all night.

    We don't use the projector much yet.  But the machine comes with a one year warranty.  So save your receipt and the box just in case.  Trust me....it is worth it.  Even if I had to buy one every other month, I would.  LOL

    And we leave the sound on all night.  You can set it to turn off automatically, but I'm always scared that DS will wake up if it isn't on.
