Doc says I'm making breast butter instead of breat milk lol!

DD was 7lbs 13oz at birth, had gained her birth wieght back plus an oz a week after she was born... and today she had an appt and weighed 11lbs 10oz!!!!

She is the cutest little chunk ever lol!(I wish my computer was cooperating so I could put a pic in here) The doc said he wasn't worried about it. He said she was perfectly healthy and that her weight gain was ok since she is eating every 3 to 4 hours and only BFing.

I just thought it was funny. The doc actually said "So you are making breast butter huh?"

    Thats funny!  I love my little chunk, and can't wait to see how much he weighs now.  He was 10.2 at birth, and 10.10 at two weeks... :)

    That's pretty funny!  She has gained so much in just a month!  My DD just puts all her calories into her length and not her weight.  At 4 months she wasn't much bigger than your LO...12lbs 6oz!

    That's awesome! And I thought DS was gaining a lot!

    He was 7.14 at birth, dropped to 7.4, and at his two week appt was 8.15!! He's a chow hound!
