  we're not doing anything, mainly because the fireworks are so close to our house that if we leave we can't get home due to blocked roads and traffic.

  No plans.  Might throw some burgers on the grill or something.  My family does a big Independence Day cookout with tons of food and homemade ice cream and fireworks, the whole shebang.  Except they're three hours away and I have a 2-week old, so the results are unpredictable to say the least.  Maybe next year.
