Elliot is ADORABLE!!! Congrats, you gave birth early right? I didn't think you were due that close to me How did everything go? I'm going to jump in the shower but I'll be back to check on this
I ended up giving birth on May 27 so 4 days early. Everything went really great! My epidural was a godsend. I ended up with a second degree episiotomy because Elliot's head was 14.5 inches (whereas the average baby head is 13 inches). I went in for my post-partum check-up yesterday and I'm all healed up.
I could easily do the pregnancy and labor/delivery all over again...it's the whole sleep-deprivation and feeling like a dairy farm that's been tough for me!
I hear you on the epi-- I was a much happier pregnant woman after I got it! And ouch on the episiotomy-- I had a little tearing but nothing like that! Glad to hear everything went well for you though The no sleep thing gets easier. Have you tried sleeping while he naps? That's helped me quite a bit.
I'm butting in and saying hi because I haven't seen you two -- or your cuties -- in ages. But, I'm off to get some coffee from D&D and run 900 errands while DH is home. Might as well take advantage.
