LO woke up from being unswaddled after 45 minutes. I went in and shushed him and turned his mobile back on so we are trying again. When I left he was awake on his back. I'm wondering if he would sleep better on his belly but I can't figure out how to lay him down that way (it seems like it must be easy and I'm missing something). If your LO sleeps on their tummy how do you get them that way? Especially if they are asleep already.
Re: How to put LO to sleep on belly?
Pick her up and flip her over! LOL.
I really don't know how to explain it. I put one hand under her face and one between her legs holding the diaper region and lay her down.
It's hard to explain, but it is definitely not easy. I rock my DS to sleep so once he falls asleep I flip him up to my left shoulder, then put the other hand between his legs on his diaper and the left hand under his face/chest and lay him down. He does adjust himself and stretch out once I lay him down.
Good Luck, I know stomach sleeping is a "no,no" but it was a life saver for us, and the ONLY way DS will sleep at all. Do what works best for your family.
