Did you (or are you planning to) use some transition days/weeks for your 8 to 12-week old when going back to work full-time? Daycare is a center in case that matters.
Not sure if I should plan a week of half-days or just drop him off Monday morning for the whole day/week.
Thanks.
Re: transition to daycare ? - 3-mo-old
I started back at 15 weeks on a Wednesday, which really helped I think. That day was a total wash - I got here at 10, left at 3 - I was barely here. Th & Friday were better. I had planned to work the next week as a short week, but DD got sick on Tuesday - so I ended up working a half day that day and Wednesday.
I would save your time off if you can, just b/c you never know when they will get sick or when you really will need to take time off.
DD is starting next Tuesday. We went in last week to discuss some of my final questions. She and I went again today to drop off her supplies (extra clothes, diapers, etc) and go over her schedule.
I go back to work on the 15th but she won't be there the whole day unless I have an out of town meeting. I work from home, DH works from home 2-3 days/week so she will rarely be there for a whole day.
I have some obligations next week that I need to get done while she's there so I will get alot of stuff done before I go back to work.
