Weaning from BFing ?

Is this something I should do cold turkey? I am going back to work on Monday and if I pump it can only be on my lunch break leaving me one chance to pump in an 8 hour day. I'm wondering if I should pump on my lunch break to help ease the pain and gradually stop that or just go cold turkey.

If I go more than 4 hours without feeding her now it hurts bad so I can't imagine a whole day!

I would not do it cold turkey. That would be SO painful. I would pump during your lunch break for 2 weeks and slowly drop pumping sessions and times.

I am only able to pump once during the day in a one person bathroom in our small office. Trust me if I could continue I would.

Any suggestions?

I would try pumping once a day (it would be every four hours, right?) and pumping while driving to and from work. I would also continue to nurse in the mornings and evenings. Some people also FF during the day and nurse in the mornings and evenings.

What are the laws in AZ? Seems ridiculous that your work would take such an amazing thing away from your LO. ?

I was actually just looking into the hands free bra for pumping while I'm driving. Do you think I could keep up my supply just by pumping 2 times while I'm at work? (lunch and driving home)

I know JAR does it everyday to and from work as well. Get the EAsy Expressions bra, a hooter hider and the cigarette adapter and you're set!
