Apparently I'm too gassy. Freaking, duh, it's called pregnancy!
I
didn't eat well yesterday and apparently it caused some issues with
being able to see clearly. The image was really really fuzzy and she
didn't even attempt the NT measurement. She didn't think that internal
would help. So I go back on Saturday. Apparently they have an IPS
specialist there on saturdays and she said that he is the one who
trained her on how to do the NT measurement. And I'm under strict
instructions to eat lots of fiber tomorrow, no junk, no beans, no
cabbage (no problem there)
But, baby was very active. We saw
him/her throwing his/her little arms above it's head. Heart rate was
161 and CRL was measuring one day ahead at 12w 4d. So at least there
was good news!
Re: NT was a bust :(
Awwww bummer!! Well, I am glad you got to see the LO and will get to go back so soon!
I am a runner, knitter, scientist, DE-IVF veteran, and stage III colon cancer survivor.
After a loss at 13wks and years dealing with IF and failed treatments (3 failed IUI and 1 failed IVF), we have been blessed with DS (surprise BFP) and now his little sister (2nd round of clomid and TI) on her way.
Hi! 12 weeks already.....Congratulations!!
Too bad about the gas:( Good luck on Saturday though. And your mom will get to see the baby, that's nice for her too.
your mom will go crazy! We took our moms to the u/s because they never had one with us either and they were soooo damn cute.

How frustrating. I got so lucky with mine, my baby was sleeping with his/her back to the camera and would not flip over long enough to see anything. So they had me sit there for an addition 1/2 hour to see if baby would finally move, thank goodness he did!
It is exciting for grandma though! And you get another peak too!!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
