2nd Trimester

Question about the JJ Cole Bundle me and carseats.

I'm registering for the chico keyfit 30 infant carrier/carseat. I'm guessing that this seat is slightly larger than the 22lb capacity seats...

Since I'm due in November I like the idea of getting a Bundle Me but do they make them in sizes to accomodate the larger seats or do they still fit no matter what size carseat/carrier you have?

Re: Question about the JJ Cole Bundle me and carseats.

  • I just got one from someone so I cna't answer from experience, but a couple of my friends used them with the Graco SafeSeat (I think it's the Snugride 32 now) and they still worked well with that, and it's bigger than the snugride.  Not sure if that will help.  You may want to ask on the 0-6 or 6-12 boards.  You'll get people on either board who had winter babies.

AmyfromKY asked about the JJ Cole Bundle Me yesterday or the day before.  Some good responses about how the Bundle Me may interfere with car seat straps.  Instead the Bundle that goes over the seat was suggested...made by Kiddopotomous (and yeah, that's spelled wrong).  It might work for a larger seat too but I'm not sure.I ended up taking the JJ Cole off of my registry and adding the other option based on responses.

I know that doesn't really answer your question but something to consider.

Ditto this.  The JJ Cole fits into your car seat by having the straps fed through it, and according to safety experts, you shouldn't add anything that will come between the seat/straps and your child.  So the JJ Cole's are not recommended.  I will also be asking for the Kiddopotamus version.

I signed up for this one as well since it goes over the seat.  You can also get them at Walmart for 15 bucks...a lot cheaper than the JJ Cole.

  • I have a bundleme and it fits but chicco says its not safe some disclaimer. ?But I used it fine. ?It fits all infant not sure about convertible.

  • I'm not sure but i think it says it is for babies 0-12 months so i would assume it would fit in bigger car seats as well?
