Tell me about Cowell Park in Concord

I'm meeting my friend from SF in Concord tomorrow with the babies for a picnic and swimming. (Thanks for the rec a few weeks back!) Anything special I should know about? It looked like there are lots of trees and shade (yay for Google satellite view). Anywhere in particular we should picnic? TIA!

it's a great pool, and park outside it. I like the tables near the playground. lots of shade. have fun!
