S/O inlaws

I realize this isn't really my business, but the way my inlaws raised SIL grates on my nerves. She graduated from college this past May. They pay her apartment's rent, give her money for clothes, bought her a brand-spankin-new car, bought her a blackberry last Christmas...and it goes on and on. Oh, and she has a paying job. Meanwhile, dh had to work for everything he has. It really makes me sick...and it's so unfair. And SIL is a snotty b!tch, while dh is the sweetest man I've ever met. Go figure!

That sucks. It is bad enough that they support a grown woman like that, but to give her special treatment over their other child is even more aweful. We will always try super hard to keep everything fair between our kids.

That's ridiculous. She's a grown woman. Her parents shouldn't pay her rent at all! Hell, if I moved back home after I graduated (which I didn't), my dad was going to charge me rent. I agree with that too, since when you graduate from college, you can't rely on your parents anymore. You're an adult in the real world.?
