When did you start to feel better (if you did!)?

So I noticed over the past 2 days or so I have more energy, very little nausea, bbs not as sore and even felt like cooking and cleaning last night! I have felt *terrible* since the beginning of my pregnancy so this is a welcome respite! I am hoping it is because I am so close to 2nd tri.

I am trying not to be paranoid about disappearing symptoms (babies heartrates were strong and in the 170's last week)...

When did you start to feel better (if you did...)?

Re: When did you start to feel better (if you did!)?

  • Sorry you aren't feeling well...hopefully it will all ease up soon! I never was "sick" (i.e. no vomitting) but had a few bouts of what felt like "sea sickness" from time to time.Mine was gone though at around 13 weeks...I remember being nervous thinking, "where did my symptoms go?!" but was told that I was normal for feeling better at that point.

    Hang in there!!

  • I had alot of my symptoms disappear around then, except morning sickness, that stuck around until almost 17 weeks. I felt pretty good around 13 weeks minus the m/s, I would have days though that were better than others. For my own peace of mind, during that time where the symptoms disappear to when you start feeling them move, I rented a Doppler.

  • I just started to feel better last Saturday.  So, that's 16 weeks 2 days.  I'm hoping it stays this way for a little while!  Best of luck to you!
  • My nausea let up between 9-10 weeks and come back randomly for a day at a time til 12 weeks...my boobs stopped hurting about that time too...I would try not to worry about it and enjoy feeling good while you can! (easier said than done, I know)
  • I started feeling better around 11 weeks... but the past couple days it has come back a little.  Not as bad as before!  But each night for the past 3, I've wanted to throw up right before I went to sleep.  I'm hoping that it's just my nerves after finding out I have twins.  Maybe butterflies or something?  Good luck... hopefully your terrible feeling is GONE for good :)

  • I started feeling better towards the end of the first trimester, but everything really went away at 16 weeks.  I did have a few bouts of sickness after that, but not bad.

    Good luck!

  • I started to feel like a whole new woman around 13 weeks. This was after losing like 11 pounds and really just feeling nauseated day and night. It was such a great feeling. From then on I had a lot of energy and felt so good. Maybe this is your time. I hope so.
  • I've had the opossite effect. My first Tri was a breeze with no symptoms other than exhaustion. Then week 11 hit... It went down hill from there on until last week, week 15. Even now I'm still having nausea and some exhaustion. New to the mix is leg cramps and back pains.

  • I started feeling alot better at 18 weeks.  I wasn't as nauseated and able to eat again.  Then as I got bigger it got harder again, but in a different way.  Just heavier, heartburn, up to pee more.  It's quite a cycle.
