I have a degree in Early Childhood Ed, backgroung checks, my CPR cert, and a natural knack for children.. I feel like I am more than qualified to care for children, whether it is in a daycare setting or in my home.
However, do you think at this stage in the game it would be too much to take on another LO in your home? With your own child still so young?
Opinions, please?
Re: would any SAH's consider 'babysitting' another LO for extra cash?
Well, what if you dont know.. like what if you offer around that you are willing to babysit for people so the potential was there for various ages? Would you say "no" if it were another LO that was much older than your LO?
Right now I'm watching my younger cousins (aged 7&11) a day a week and they're sooo good.. They're here around 8 hours and are so helpful and understanding when I have to tend to the baby.. (my Wii also helps to keep them entertained) so I dont think I would be too nervous caring for older ones.
Ditto.
