Apparently it's rude comment day from strangers for girls on the board today! What is wrong with people?
I was feeling great today and just came from a wonderful midwife appointment with my mom since DH couldn't go. Everything is great, I'm feeling good and (important) my skin is actually the clearest it's been since I got pregnant right now. B/c of PCOS and my effed up hormone levels my skin has always been bad...really bad and it's always been a really touchy subject for me.
So we're sitting at lunch (my fav sushi place so the servers all 'know' me) and our waitress comes over and notices my belly (I haven't been in awhile and haven't seen her there in months and months).
She goes "ohh you're expecting, isthat why your skin is so bad? Because it used to be clear, right?"
WTF? First off all, my skin is never clear, but I guess compared to right now it looked much better. I felt like crap!
Re: Is it rude comment day?
Good gracious! All these rude people...who raised them?!? I'm sorry
I've always had skin problems and honestly my skin was much better during 2nd and 3rd tri and stayed good while bf'ing! Now, 3 months post b'fing it's still better than it was, but maybe one step backwards. Hope you have the same luck I did. I'm also super sensitive about it and if someone had said that to me I probably would have cried.

What the deuce?!? WHO SAYS THIS?!? I am just stunned. I'm working on developing a whole list of snappy comebacks because evidently people are MORONS!
ETA: My skin is god awful lately too - I actually bought Sea Breeze astringent yesterday in hopes it can shrink some of the zits on my jaw line and (gasp) neck. Blech.
