I like it when everyone makes something for the baby instead of a game. Like decorating onesies or making a scrap book page for major milestones so the mom just has to put in the pics or something cute like that.

I hosted one for my friend a couple months ago. I wanted to do something fun, but I didn't really know any of her family so I didn't want to do anything crazy just in case. Besides, everyone likes prizes!
I made name tags for everyone with little cloth diapers on them. One of the diapers had a raisinette in it (aka baby poop), and part way through the shower I had everyone check to see if it was them. The person with the poop won a prize. There's a pic of those on my old blog here.
Guess the baby food. Just pass around numbered containers of baby food, and have everyone guess what is what. Everyone was really entertained by this.
I set an egg timer for a short amount of time while she was opening gifts and when the timer went off the giver of the gift she was opening got a prize.
Easy: just print out your sister's last name (big block letters across the top of the page). Then under each letter the guest is to write down names (as many as they can think of for boys and girls). This is a timed game.
Another one was done at the very beggining and was kind of like a hot potato game. Her friend showed everyone a wrapped box and said there were a pair of bloomers inside and the person who took off the last bit of paper had to wear the bloomers for the rest of the shower. Then the music started and stopped and the person holding the box had to take off a layer of tissue. I'd say the box was wrapped about 15 times. It was really fun...people were literally throwing the box in the other person's lap...and we were at tables. No one wanted to wear a pair of bloomers. Well, the person who took off the last layer of tissue opened the box and there was a wrist corsage inside. It was very nicely wrapped (protected) with bubble wrap so still looked great. Everyone was pleasantly surprised. It was two flowers=pair of bloomers.
Another was to guess the amount of M&M's in a baby bottle (without going over).
A game that was done at my niece's shower was she came around with a tray full of baby items (probably 20-25 items) so everyone could look at them. Then she walked out of the room and the hostess asked a lot of questions about my niece (was she wearing earrings, bracelet, was her hair pulled back or down, did she have on shoes, socks, nylons, rings, buttons on her clothing, color of this or that. It was fun because everyone was concentrating so much on the tray of baby items.
Another one they did was to send around a roll of toilet tissue. Everyone was asked to take as much as they think they would need (not being told what for). People took 3 squares upt to 20 squares. After everyone had their tissue they were asked to make a bow out of it. I was surprised at how well some did with just 3 sheets of toiltet tissue! lol

That's a cute idea -- thanks!

At my DD's shower they did some cute/fun games.
