shoes for kids with chubby feet ?

If your DC had chubby feet, what shoes have you found that fit good. My niece has chubby feet especially on top and my sister is having a really hard time finding something that fits comfortably for her little 15 month old.

my dd's feet are very wide and she has lots of chub on top. crocs cayman sandals fit her very well and also new balances in an extra wide.

i got a pair of croc knockoffs from toys r us that are the only thing that will fit DS -- even the sandals with the velcro across the toes are too small for his pillow feet...it's VERY frustrating.

See Kai Run are about the only thing that fit Eli well. Stride Rite has wide sizes, but his foot isn't wide, it's thick, so a wider shoe just didn't do the trick. Every now and then we get lucky and find something at Walmart or Target, but SKR are our go-to shoes. Look on ebay for deals.

Only the XW sizes *really* work (we have Striderite XW). See Kai Run is a wider shoe, but they are still a little snug on my son, although we have 4 pair that he does wear.
