Cooking Dinner Hope It Turns Out O.K.

Cooking chicken breasts dipped in butter and ritz crackers.

Unhealthy but looked good so giving it a try. Hope it turns out good since I've never tried it.

Have y'all tried new dishes since you've became pg?

Re: Cooking Dinner Hope It Turns Out O.K.

  • Ya know, my friend/co-worker was just mentioning this chicken a few weeks ago. She called it Ritz Chicken. I am very interested to try it sometime. Let me know how it turns out!

(BTW, do you bake, fry or grill it?)

  • I make new salads and dressings now that I'm pregnant. I've made a few new fish dishes as well.
  • here's the receipe

    1.    Step 1

    INGREDIENTS:
6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
    2 cups Ritz cracker crumbs
    3/4 cup parmesan cheese
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup parsley
1 cup butter or margarine, melted

    2.    Step 2

Blend cracker crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and parsley. Set aside.

    3.    Step 3

Melt butter. Dip each chicken breast in melted butter, then in cracker mixture. Arrange in a shallow baking dish sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Pour remaining melted butter over chicken.

    4.    Step 4

Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350 degrees. DO NOT turn! Delicious...

I didnt have the cheese so I omitted it :)

  • I make this once in a while - so bad for you but so yummy!!
  • Oooh that does sound good! When my friend explained it, she said it was basically butter and ritz (boring). Does it come out kind of crispy?? I can't wait to try this!
