Charlie's Soap

Can you add anything to the laundry with the Charlie's to take smells out of items?

I bought some CDs from a smoke-friendly house and I've already wahed them once with Charlies and hot HOT water, but the smell of smoke is still there.

Should I add some vinegar or something? What would you do?

  • Hmm...I wonder if sunning would help?

  • my wash routine is as follows, and I think it would get out that smell:

    1 scoop of charlies and
2 scoops of 'BioKleen OxyBleach + with GSE' in the detergent dispenser
vinegar in the fabric softener dispenser with a few drops of TTO

the diapers come out with a faint TTO smell. You could use a different EO, but don't use anything that might irritate.
