Infertility

*~*Dr. L.*~*~ (not tttc related)

Just saw your blog...was considering getting a few blueberry bushes for the side of our porch.  Any hints?  It gets a lot of sun, but some shade given that the area is on the side of the porch.  I'm going to be doing roses in the front, but probably knockout roses (which I don't think is what you show in your blog).  I need to finish sewing curtains first as I promised DH I would finish one project before starting another...

Re: *~*Dr. L.*~*~ (not tttc related)

  • Hi,

The bush we bought is in mostly sun. The wild ones between us and the neighbors get a lot of shade and dappled sunlight. Both kinds are doing just fine. They seem to be pretty hardy--our soil isn't the greatest, and the one I bought is in a pot that I've done nothing to for 3 years.

No knockout roses, at least as far as I can tell. They're all climbers. If you're looking for a source, i really liked the service and selection at heirloomroses.com.

    Good luck!

I have knockout roses and I love them! I am in Illinois and they bloom nonstop from June through mid-November. They are the showstopper in my yard.
