I can not get that damn bull creature out of my head!! That was terrifying! I had nightmares about it and to make it worse DH kept putting his arms up like horns and chasing me around the house!!! That was by far the creepiest episode yet.

My first thought was that it was MaryAnn and she was doing it because Sookie was trying to take Tara away from her.
Then at the end, the new waitress, Daphne, had the same scratch marks...

I think the bull creature is Tara's boyfriend. Or Carl. Or something to do with freaky Maryann!

But, I bought book one of the series and was so disappointed. I love the show but the book was BAAD.

The creators of this show have done an awesome job with character development. And great casting. Except for Anna Paquin. I don't like her as Sookie.

of course, they aren't following the books religiously. Lafayette is now dead in the books, and Tara hasn't made an appearance.
The attacker in the books is the Maenad https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacchae
who walks around naked with a pig (Maryann). Maryann makes everyone around her crazy, the devotees of Bacchus get down with sex, drugs, booze, orgies, etc...
however, the maenad scratches Sookie with a barbed stick, not claws. So it seems (for the moment) that they just went in a totally different direction with this storyline (the maenad is NOT a major character in the books, appears twice in one book and is gone) and that Maryann is not the attacker. however, i do believe Maryann is a maenad.
She is kind of annoying although DH LOVES her. He gets excited when they show her bewbies. Perv

As I say when I do public speaking, I see dead people and I talk to the animals- sort of like a mini Sixth Sense and Dr Doolittle all rolled into one! I help people realize their loved ones who have crossed over are not dead- just in a different place. I really see them- people and pets- who have crossed over- in their spirit form, and they communicate messages to me to give to the people I am reading for, usually messages of love, and assurances they are still alive. I also give psychic advice to people via my Spirit guides, who are extremely wise and wonderful. I can also ?sense? what past lives people have lived, which can be helpful to people in their lives now.

When I first started watching last year Tara's character pissed me off. I really like her at the end of last season/this season. They have done a good job developing her. I really am starting to not like Sam so much.

I thought Eric was so hot last season. But omg this season. Sigh. Hot to the 20th power. Even in a freaking track suit. How is that possible? I hate track suits lol.

The bull thing didnt' scare me. It reminded me of the devil from that Jack Black movie w/ him & his buddy in a band. The part that grossed me out was when the doctor stuck her finger in Sookie's cuts. ewwwwwwwwwww Made my skin crawl.
I'm dieing to know what Maryann is. Cannot wait till next week.
