Nothing too exciting for us... we usually go to DH's Aunt and Uncle's (with the whole family) for a BBQ and yard games. I would prefer to be on a lake, but whatever! I
Apparently I suck at updating you! My big u/s is tomorrow (!!) and my 4 week checkup is Wednesday
QOTD: I am so excited for the 4th this year. My BIL/SIL are coming down Thursday night. Friday more of our friends are coming and we're all going out on their boat Friday day/night for fireworks. Saturday more friends and family are coming and we're having a big bbq at our house. My town puts of fireworks that we can watch from the end of our block. It should be a fun weekend!!
I have a regular appt coming up July 1.
I don't think we have any July 4th plans yet.. not even sure when DH gets off from work! We would have visited my aunt and uncle but they are traveling cross country. I think just relax, BBQ, that kind of thing. It has been SO RAINY so it's tough to plan much of anything with DD.

My Blog Attempt
We learned on 6/23 that we are expecting a GIRL! What an exciting announcment for both my DH and I for we both thought we were having a boy. The tech said everything looked good and her expected weight @ 20 w3d was 12 oz. "Sugar and Spice and Everything nice that's what little GIRLS are made of!
No name as of yet, but have started to look. Next appointment is in 4 weeks.
QOTD: No big plans for the 4th, I am sure we will BBQ with friends and if we have time start our registry.
Today is my last 2nd tri check-in which is really exciting and scary at the same time.
QOTD: I am keeping my plans open this weekend. My DH has to work and I have a great uncle in ill health so I think I may head out to my grandparents to visit again if he is still hanging on. Otherwise I need to recoop from my crazy busy weekend last weekend with two events across the state from each other. At least the heat has let up for a few days - what a relief. (=

Oh my gosh 2nd tri is moving along soo fast..can you believe it ladies we are almost to 3rd tri.
I am looking forward to Vday tomorrow and my mom ordered my crib and it should be here this week, yay yay yay!
On the 4th I will be a bridesmaid in a good friends wedding, looking forward to the day but also worried that my feet will kill and that it won't be as much fun since I can't drink.

Hey everyone...hope you are all doing well! I just had my last appt. on the 24th and all looked good. Next appointment I have to do my glucose test. :-(
QOTD: No real 4th plans yet, which is disapointing because DH and I actually have the whole weekend off together. (That never happens!) If nothing else we will go over to a friends to watch fireworks on the 4th, and then head to Ribfest on Sunday! At least DH and I will be together!!

We are going to a huge Fireworks show out by a huge lake - they have live music, sno cones, kids face painting, etc - it should be lots of fun. Well, this will be my second year in a row of being the designated driver! Hopefully next year I can enjoy a nice cold beer, he he!

My husband and I are driving to the Oregon coast to spend some time with his family. I'm so excited because I love the coast and it will be nice to get away from our furbabies for a couple of days and reconnect.
Update: Just anxiously awaiting my u/s appt on Thursday! It can't get here soon enough!!!
QOTD: We're going over to my parents on the 3rd, for their community's fireworks, then going to the IL's on the 4th, probably to go boating during the day, then fireworks at night. It should be a fun, busy weekend!
My appt went well this morning. OB said baby looked great although my placenta is a bit low so I'll get another u/s at 30 weeks (which I'm kind of happy about the u/s and won't worry about the placenta unless I have to).
QOTD: My parents are coming down from Indiana and we'll probably go baby furniture shopping, generally hang out and set off fireworks with my crazy neighbors. They haven't come down to visit me in like 2 years so I'm really looking forward to it!
