I am currently 18 DPO according to FF. I have been testing almost every day (not FMU) and getting BFM's since thursday. At this point should I just go into the doctor and get a blood test or just wait it out a few more days? I'm going crazy.

Re: I need some advice (TTC/Chart related)
1) How long is your cycle normally? Are you actually late?
2) What else has been happening in your life that could have made this cycle wonky?
3) have you had any symptoms, other than a lack of your period?
And then I say call your Dr tomorrow and see what they say.
usual LP is between 15-16 days.
nothing this month has been different (that would change my cycle)
I was having a little nausea earlier this week and a big increase in appetite but other than that no symptoms.
You are more likely to get a false neg than a false positive. Maybe your progesterone isn't up where it needs to be to register in your pee, yet.
I say take another one first thing tomorrow morning.
Although, if you wake up and it's like God gave you a boob injection, then you're knocked up and you should call your DR.
(Not to be shitty, but I had months of cycles where I was like "Hey, stupid body! Would you just decide already!" And then this last one, where I REALLY needed it to decide so I could schedule some infertility testing is the one that worked for us. So really, it could just be your body *** with you. In which case, I prescribe ice cream and beer. And hugs.)
I just wanted to say hang in there. All the testing last month made me crazy too. Here is wishing you a BFP
Dust!!
I did use OPK for a couple months but one month I got about 5 + in a row so I knew there was something a little fishy, maybe I wasn't using them right but they were just confusing me more so I just took out the OPK factor.
Ok...based on your OPK experience I'm going to venture (completely hopefully) that pee-sticks might not be your answer.
Also hopeful that you see your Dr and they do a blood test and they say "Congrats!"
if it were me, i'd test first thing tomorrow am, and then call my dr. to discuss w/ her/him. i have heard that false negatives are more common than false positives.
testing can be such crazy-making! hang in there and good luck!
