I don't get it. His kids look 100% white. Am I missing something? MJ is genetically african american. I just don't see it. Have any of you wondered the same? Sorry if this sounded disrespectful. I love MJ.. just an honest question.
Anyone ever hear of that interracial couple in England (I think) who had two sets of twins...and BOTH sets had one white looking child and one african american looking child? The odds of that are crazy!
Do you have a picture of mom?? Wasnt she white?? They look pretty tan, and if I might add, mj had melenoma~ and was pretty light himself when he was considered black.

Here's mom.. I've seen lots of mixed kids, but never any that look this white. Genetically, his skin was pretty dark.
Mom (Debbie Rowe) is white, and I think the kids look like they could be mixed. I babysat for 2 children who had a white mom and a black dad. They looked VERY white, but had curly-ish hair like their dad, and his brown eyes. Other than that, it was all mom.
I am biracial and the only way ppl say they can tell is by my butt and that is after they ask me, what race are you. I look white but and I am half black and half white.

?
the mixed kids you've seen dont have parents with melanoma. MJ had a skin condition and MAN does he look scary here!!!!?
They can't be. I can see maybe 1 kid looking totally white (I've seen biracial people that look white), but for all 3 kids to look totally white is unbelievable. No curl to their hair or anything? Those kids aren't his. Not possible.
Mixed kids usually do look more black than that. It's possible Michael had some recessive white genes from generations ago, as many African Americans do, but statistically highly unlikely that all of his kids would get all of his white genes. Coloring aside, I don't think the kids look like him at all.

The fact that the kids look very similar to him means nothing... amazing.
My family is middle eastern, and lots of my cousins have married blond hair blue eye spouses, and the kids still look Egyptian. I realize there isn't a blanket rule, but even the mixed kids we have in my family are darker.
Just because they don't look like what you imagine they should look like does not mean they are not biracial. That being said, I don't know if they are genetically his. Not that it matters, really.
He didn't have melanoma, he claimed to have vitiligo and I have no idea if that can be genetic.
I totally agree that people of color come in MANY shades. But, and I am not trying to be argumentative, I've seen plenty of white women with butts and I've never questioned any of them as to their race. If you and if you and your siblings truly look as white as you think you do, I don't know if you'd receive as many queries about what race you are.
Sorry but those kids have no features of an african american! I'd bet they aren't his either but really dont care either way!
maybe it's my pg hormones, but I thought that was really mean.
Which part was mean? To be completely honest I am so tired of hearing about Michael Jackson that I probably should have stayed out of this post. The Michael Jackson worth all the glory and praise died 15 years ago as far as I'm concerned.
Wasn't meant to be mean, more of a "I don't care enough to make a big deal out of it" idea. Luckily regardless of genetics they still have a mother who loves them.
Do you have a picture of mom?? Wasnt she white?? They look pretty tan, and if I might add, mj had melenoma~ and was pretty light himself when he was considered black.
Actually, I believe he had vitilaigo (not sure of the spelling). My sister has it and it causes the skin to loose pigmentation. As far as I know, melenoma does not do that. I never bought that theory though as both my sister and my friend who have it lose pigmentation in patches, not over their entire body and it's not even like that.
An article on MSNBC says it's likely they're not his kids.
"Jackson has said that his first two children were conceived normally with Rowe, but she (Debbie Rowe the mother) has said that they were conceived through artificial insemination with donated sperm. Jackson said his own sperm was used to impregnate Blanket?s surrogate mom, but that has not been independently established."
Sorry but those kids have no features of an african american! I'd bet they aren't his either but really dont care either way!

The part where you said you bet they're not his! Why would you make that judgement about anyone

yes it can be like that. He has a severe case of Vitilaigo which can cover your entire body. For some people it stops and doesn't spread but for others it covers your entire body. Do your research before you make comments like that. Not ever disease is identical. And everyone that said Melenoma MEANT vitilagio.?

Well first, I wasn't the only one to say that. Second, because they look absolutely nothing like him. Third, because the stories about them being IVF or natural contradict each other. Fourth and finally, because I think he turned into a complete freak in the last 15 years and the only reason the boy looks even similar now is because MJ has had so much plastic surgery.
Just my opinion, when you turn your life into a circus act, complete with a ferris wheel how can you expect people not to form an opinion.

No they don't. She gave up their rights to her children. They don't have a mother OR a father now. Horribly sad.

Well good thing you were raised right, because I receive questions about my race all the time and that is what they say makes them ask, which is annoying because its not there business. If you look at my picture I look white and I am not just white I?m both.
No need to argue with you about the questions I receive and how often, you are not in my shoes and don?t have to deal with people ignorance all the time.

I wasn't aware of that, it is sad. Hopefully they are well taken care of by the rest of the family!

Actually I have done my research: my sister and a close
friend both have it. And if you did as much reading as you seem to
indicate you have, you would know that for the most part it DOES stay
in patches. I'm not making blanket statements about a disease, I was
talking about a particular person. I don't buy the vitiligo theory
with MJ because regardless of the severity, it always starts with
patches. When did we ever see him with patches of depigmentation? His
skin just continually got evenly lighter.
And I wasn't attacking anyone for using the incorrect term. I was just stating what it was. I didn't read the other responses, so didn't know it had been clarified.
I have 2 cousins that are half-black and they look all white, or comparable to MJ's kids. Their skin is just tan looking with darker hair but their hair is straight, too.
Re: How are Michael Jackson's kids genetically his?? PIP
I've always wondered that.

Mom is pastey white-
I still say the kids are pretty tan and a perfect blend.
I dont know how you CANT see that they belong to him.

Vitiligo, THATs what i was thinking of!!! (Thanks heather for the correction)
and his son is a spitting image of him- look at his eyes-
I'd also like to add, Mariah Carey is 1/2 black, and she looks VERY white to me...
yep!! agree!

Mariah Carey is actually 1/4 African American. Her dad was 1/2 Afterican American.

What makes them look like "hillbilly kids"?
?
