Parenting after a Loss

Very cool baby-friendly vacation

Last night I was researching different vacation ideas and found this really cool place in Vermont.  It's called Tyler Place and is kind of an outdoorsy-type vacation, but is all-inclusive and all about family.  During the summer months families have their own Parent's Helper who stays with you during the day and offers help with your LO's so you still get to be together as a family, but with an extra set of hands.  And then if you want some time alone, your LO is already familiar with your helper and it's not as hard as dropping them off to be watched in a group setting. What a great idea!  I would love to know if any nesties from that area have heard anything about this before.

  • That place looks awesome, DH and I may have to consider doing that next summer with the kids.

  • Yeah, it's awesome there. I know the owners :)

If you do plan a vaca here, let me know and I'll give you a list of fun things in the area to do!

  • That place does look seriously awesome, we've been looking for a fun place to take DD on her first big vacation. We were thinking Disney or the 1,000 Islands but now that we'll have a kid under 12 months too, we need to adjust our plans but that place looks like it might be the perfect fit--especially with the caregivers giving us a chance to have dinners or activities on our own. And separate bedrooms? Yes, please :-)
  • My friend from work goes there every summer and has for years, and she loves it!
