NBR - Fried Yellow Squash

A friend of mine just gave me some beautiful yellow squash from his garden and I want to fry some and saute the rest (different meals of course :)).  Does anyone have a good recipe? TIA!

    Ohh, squash dipped in cornmeal is delish!   Thats the only way I can get DH to eat it!

    ohh ohh ohh, you could use a tempura batter.  mmmmm, that sounds so good.  you can buy the mix at the grocery store, it comes in a packet.

     THIS!  We love it.  We soak the cut squash in water for a bit, then dip it in cornmeal and fry it in butter (we've tried oil, but not nearly as good).  Just make sure not to flip them too often or the cornmeal comes off.  Its awesome!
