WWYD: Extra Diapers from Daycare

So, I was going through DD's diaper stash last night.  This was the first time I stripped the whole lot, so the first time in a while I've seen all her dipes together at one time. I noticed she had two extra diapers (BG 3.0s). Daycare must have accidentally put them in our wetbag at some point.   Here's my dilemma - there's only one other kid in her daycare who is CD and he recently pulled out of daycare.  Should I get the contact info from the daycare and let his parents know I have his CDs, bring them back to the daycare to let them deal with them or just keep them? What would you do? Another issue - I don't know which ones are his, which ones are DDs because they are the same diapes.  Thanks!

    I would call them and tell them you noticed you have 2 extra diapers that must be from this little boy and can they contact the parents to let them know.

    I'd contact dc. I'd probably just send two back and let them handle it. If it were me that lost two diapers I'd really appreciate getting them back.

    This and are you sure you have all of your diapers? If they mixed some up then you could be missing some. Its strange the other parents didn't notice. I noticed when daycare lost some of mine.

    I agree.  I'd let them know.  While I'd love extra diapers, it's the right thing to do.

    I think so. As sad as this sounds, I've picked up BG 3.0s here and there and I'm not 100% sure how many I had.  Embarrassed

    I'd definitely contact.  I was recently upset that I lost a cover (which I found) which wasn't quite as expensive as the BG's but still.  I'm sure that family will want their diapers back just from the investment standpoint.
