3rd Trimester

I cannot get over...

How when my LO is sleeping or just not moving around a lot ... that it seriously feels like there is NOTHING in there. ?Lately it really has been freaking me out, and then out of nowhere I will get a huge kick. ?I am starting to think she sleeps like her dad (dead to the world) hoping this is the case once she's here... ?

For real though. ?Anyone else freak out once in a while because it is so still in there? ??

Re: I cannot get over...

  • On the few occasions that I am able to get comfortable, I "forget" that a baby is in there.  Lately, though, I have not been able to get comfy, no matter what I do.  It makes it hard to forget there's a baby in there.

I'm opposite. She wont stop moving. I hear that's its normal though to not feel your LO as much the further along you are because there isn't a lot of room for her to move but yea, I can see why that would freak you out!

  • There's usually a foot wedged in my ribcage that makes it impossible to forget.
  • Sorry, I definitely don't have that problem. I swear my LO hosts dance parties in my ute! She is one active little girl.

Ditto! Though in the last few weeks he's dropped.  But his head against my cervix makes it hard to forget!

Don't worry - it's not just you! :)  My LO has sleepy time in the mornings....sometimes I don't feel movement until mid-morning.  Sometimes it freaks me out, but I just try to remember that this is his/her "schedule" right now.  Drinking really cold water can sometimes get your LO to move so that you won't freak out!

Ditto. The baby is still very active, especially at work.
