I have vacuuming OCD

I have just realised this.

When we moved into the house they put in brand new carpets for us so they are nice and cooshy. I have realised that when I vaccum I start at the other end of the hallway from where I keep the vacuum cleaner, and when I walk over bits I've done I go back over them so there are no foot indents in the carpet. I love having a freshly vacuumed carpet and it irritates me that 2 minutes later is has foot prints or dog prints, or bits of stick, or dog hair etc all over it again.
