I think we started w/whole grain waffles around 9 months, but DD wasn't really that good w/bread-type products until then. I did pancakes after that, then french toast. She likes all of them
We do! We found organic mini waffles in the health food section of our grocery store, Hannaford's. She loves them. Also, when we make pancakes for breakfast, we always give her some. This past weekend she thoroughly enjoyed banana pancakes. I would say we started giving her these foods right around 8/9 months.

DS has had pancakes for about a month and a half now and waffles for about a month. He has no teeth. No Yogurt yet may try that soon. He loves grilled cheese.

my DS loooves waffles. we had some eating issues and didn't end up starting real table-type foods until almost 9.5 - 10mo but both of my girlfriends started waffles/pancakes as soon as baby was able to chew small pieces of food.
I made a bunch of mini pancakes and then froze them. I'll either warm them up for her for breakfast, or sometimes I take right out of the freezer as a teething biscuit.
Re: Waffles/Pancakes for baby?
He should be good with them now. I cut them in strips and DD holds one ends and noms the other.
If I'm in a hurry, I'll cut it in pieces and feed her.
We started pancakes a couple of weeks ago. colin has been rejecting purees for awhile now.
I bought the Aunt Jemina frozen mini ones and he eats 1 of those with yogurt. He loves his pancakes.
