I"m sooo not a cook and I have a bar b que bday party to go to this weekend. I have to take a dish that feeds 20 people. I was told something cold would be good since we will be outside, or a dessert would be good too. They will be doing fajitas as a main dish, and i believe they will be doing some dips. Not sure what everyone else is bringing.
I posted this on the cooking boards but didn't get many responses, so wondering if you can all help. Tia
Re: Need a simple recipe to take to a party. Help....
The first things that come to mind with fajitas are: guacamole, refried beans, and rice.
Dessert wise, I'd make sopapilla cheesecake. Mmmmm
I think guacamole right now would be pretty expensive, the small avocados are a bit over a dollar. and to feed 20 peeps I would need alot.
Any got any good summer recipes?
Ooh, 7 layer dip is always a hit!
