Would you travel to the Czech Republic for IVF?

I just happened upon this website.  Has anyone done any research on this option?

The IVFConnections.com site has a board for IVF abroad.  A lot of members have traveld to the CR - might be a good resource for you.  GL!

  • IF my husband and I had the resources to take 2-4 weeks off of work...we would do it.  But unfortunately we can't do that.

It would be hard enough for me to get to the next town over for IVF with work...

I would have done it.  We went as far as faxing the clinics the information on our CF mutations for the PGD portion.  Unfortunately, they don't have the ability to screen on the ones we have - so we're stuck in the States paying an arm (or three) and a leg (or two).

I would have loved to see the Czech Republic.

Husband has cystic fibrosis. I'm a carrier. We did TESE, IVF, ICSI, and PGD. After two failed IVFs, we were blessed with our twins.
