what does this mean (used CD lingo)

OBV is no longer silky but not sherpa either.

looking at a listing for a GM (i know...do i really want to start that obsession?) i know what OBV is but what's with the silky/sherpa lingo? i'm guessing silky is better than sherpa. ?buy why would sherpa be bad? isn't it soft too?

    OBV starts out really silky and over time becomes more sherpa like.  So I think people just use it to let you know that it hasn't been washed/used that much.

    it just means it is not silky soft, but  instead looks more like a wooly sheep inside. not as soft, but i think it is fine and DS doesn't care! i bought some sherpa-y used GM and i like them just fine! i think it is  mostly one of those things that just says "this is a well used diaper" but doesn't REALLY matter!
