Is everyone super uncomfortable the last 2 months?

I had a friend over today that is 38 wks pg and she is SO miserable. ?I am just curious if there is anyone that is not super uncomfortable. ?I know that it won't be great, but I am starting to dread the last 2 months. ?I would like to think that it won't be awful, but she wasn't helping today. ?Thanks ladies!

  • I'm not constantly uncomfortable, but I am much more so lately than I have been the whole time! I feel good more than bad though!

  • not going to lie i was fine until about 2 weeks ago when babe started poking its little butt or whatever into my ribs. since then there has been less and less room in there i just feel stretched and uncomfortable.
  • I wasn't with DD, and this time around I am just having a lot of heartburn and trouble getting to sleep.

  • The last 2 days are the first that have been really uncomfortable...makes me kind of dread the next 10 weeks...
  • Im almost in month 8.. i dont know how the res tof the summer will go, but even in the heat here, and walking 3 flights of stairs at my apartment.. im not miserable...

i mean once i catch my breath and cool down.. im as happy as a clam..

cant be sad when i dont have long to go to get my lil one!!

  • I don't think the last two months, or even the last couple of weeks, are miserable for everyone. It varies person to person. I did pretty well until the middle of last week, but that is also when it got really hot where I live, so I think the two are related.

  • I felt great up until the day I gave birth at 38 weeks. I actually only felt really uncomfortable two weeks out of the 38 and that was somewhere in the middle of my pregnancy.

  • Nope. I'm not really that uncomfortable yet. I have a few moments here and there, but overall, everything is still going relatively easy.
  • I think I've been pretty lucky - it hasn't been that bad for me. I'm still enjoying it with just over 3 weeks to go.

Getting up from laying down is tough, but that's about it.

  • I was perfectly fine and dandy for the most part until about a month ago yea. Now I'm constantly uncomfortable, I can't be on my feet long, but at the same time, can't sit long....it's just not as great as the first 6 months. I just keep saying "I'm DONE."

  • I just recently started to get uncomfortable. Its not all the time either, just sometimes I get really out of breath doing nothing and its not too fun when he sits in my ribs...Im sure its going to get worse im only 31 weeks. lol. Goodluck!

  • I started getting really uncomfortable after 35 weeks. It's different for everyone though. My baby dropped during my 35th week and I've felt tons of pressure and pain since then.
  • Well if you're feeling more optimistic I'll back out of this post LOL It's really the nights that suck. Not unbearable

  • I was completely fine during my first pregnancy until I went into labor. Not too much discomfort at all. I felt huge (and was), but other than that, I felt good.

  • I wasn't ALWAYS uncomfortable, but just most of the time.  I was usually good if I was laying in bed, except for the having to get up a pee every hour.

The swelling and back pains were the worst at the end, but I still managed to walk 2 miles the day I went into labor, so it couldn't have been that bad.

Pretty much.  Everything gets harder towards the end.

I was totally fine until about 3 weeks-ish ago, then everything hit me all at once.  Never had any nausea, fatigue or anything during the first tri, then bam, week 30 rolls around and it all came at once, plus the baby moves higher and is in my ribs or pushing on my hip bones so uncomfortable.

Don't get me wrong, things get harder, but I'm still doing what I;ve been doing all along, it just takes me a little longer now.  But I'm sleeping better than ever

  • The only time I am uncomfortable is when I am being kicked in the ribs or punched in the ovaries.
  • I just started getting really uncomfortable about 37 weeks.  Lots of heart burn, swelling feet and hands, and sleeping is even worse.  I wake up all night to pee (worse than begore) and its such a pain to get up, plus it hurts to switch sides which I do about 5-6 times a night I think....can't get comfortable at all!!  Also, I can tell she has either dropped or just gotten bigger, because I have more pressure down low, and its hard to sit up straight....I need to stretch out!  She'll be here soon though!!!
  • It is different for everyone.  I was pretty uncomfortable the last 6 weeks.  It would have been worse if I was working.  Really though I had my good days and bad days.  Thankfully I delivered at 38 weeks 1 day.  I also was able to rest since I wasn't working (got put off at 30 weeks due to PTL).  Try not to dread it too much, you might get yourself worked up for nothing.  However I do recommend taking off work at least a week or 2 before you deliver if you can.  I am lurking and just wanted to add my 2 cents.
  • I was supremely uncomfortable with both of my pg's for at least the last 8 weeks I was pg- and I delivered them each almost 3wks early.  It is very different for everyone.  I have a very small frame & my pg weight waaaay out front.  Plus my doc told me I carry my babes very low in the pelvis compared to most women he examines.  I think all of that stuff combined did it for me.  I know plenty of women who were not super uncomfortable except for the last couple of weeks.
  • I just starting getting a lot bigger and a lot more uncomfortable...I can barely get up by myself now and rolling to the side hurts...I can't sleep (obviously since I am up at 1:30 a.m.) and I just generally hurt.  I also feel like the babe is getting a LOT heavier to carry and I often feel off balance.  I am down to 10 weeks and can only imagine that it may get worse...:(
  • i'm not. i've been feeling pretty good. i'd say in the past week or so i've been getting a bit more tired, and more uncomfortable than earlier on- but nothing horrid. still going to the gym, going out to do stuff, etc.
  • My first pregnancy I felt great worked out the whole time up till the day my DD was born.. though I did have bad heartburn the whole time.

This time i felt great up till about 2-3 weeks ago working out up till this past friday.. I now have Sciatica that has progresively gotten worse.  My lower back / butt feels like it is broken, and I can barely walk..... It has made it hell!!!  plus I still have heartburn, so I am, really just hoping this little lady makes an appearance 10 days early... as I am booked with work unitl then which will not help my pain situation..

    Best of luck!
