Haven't concentrated at work in over a year!

Just a random thought....I just realized that between IF and now being pregnant, I have spent about 75% of my time at work in the past year on the internet - it's a wonder I still have a job! It is so hard to concentrate at work right now - all I want to do is look online at baby bedding, furniture, gear, etc. Anyone else feel the same way?

    LOL yes. I use the internet for 'fun' when I'm pumping now...that's my 'reward' to myself.

    Otherwise I'd be in big trouble.

    I'm the same way!!  For my wedding too, so about 3.5 years!  I'm addicted to these boards and Facebook!  I work in IT and sometimes think about shutting off access to these sites just so I can get work done, but I'd probably freak out!  I wonder how I still have a job too!

    yes, when I got laid off I didn't feel *that* bad that I got screwed out of maternity leave.  I worked remotely and probably took way too much advantage of the situation between dr appts, nesting, and googling pg/if stuff! 

    I'm really happy I'm starting a new job, otherwise I'd probably be on the internet staring at the nannycam at daycare all day!

    No kidding! My boss would die if she knew how little time I actually "worked." In my defense, I don't have enough work to keep me busy and my supervisor (my dad!) is well aware of that, but he won't say anything because he knows I need the job!

    yeah, i used to half hope i'd come in one day and it would be blocked, but i also knew how to access blocked sites thru our netherland's proxy, so it wouldn't have helped!  too tempting!

    Everything EXCEPT this board is blocked at my job...so i can't be too bad:)

    So glad i have the board, though, otherwise i'd never be on.
