  • There is no correlation between morning sickness and gender of the baby.

    Ditto.

If you must know, I had absolutely no m/s and I'm having a girl.

  • ditto pp - it's an OWT. that being said, i've had no m/s and we're having a boy.
  • I agree with Browneyes, first baby I was sick as a dog everyday and it was a girl. This 2nd is also a girl and I didn't get sick at all.

Similarly-I was big all around with my 1st daughter and with this one I am a total basketball.

So I take that as. . .  it's not that each woman is different, each pregnancy is.

  • I didn't have any morning sickness and my mom and grandmother swore I was having a boy as they had no morning sickness with boys and both were incredibly sick with their girl pregnancies, but much to their suprise we're having a girl.
  • NO m/s and I am having a girl. M/S has nothing to do with the sex of the baby. Wish my family was up to date on that one, since they sure thought I was having a boy. I love to prove them wrong!

  • I had severe morning sickness during both the 1st and 2nd trimesters and I'm having a boy. That said, my mother experienced the same with all three of her pregnancies and she had all girls.
  • No morning sickness, but we're team green :-)

  • I did not have MS with either baby.

I had a little boy 1 year ago tomorrow and now I'm having a little girl.

    GL!!

  • lots of m/s, it's a boy.  but i think it depends much more on your family -- my mom had horrible m/s with me.

No m/s with either of my girls

  • Morbid MS and it's a girl.  My mother also had morbid MS with both my brother and I.

     Ditto, and Ditto.

  • Just like everyone said above.. morning sickness isn't a sign either way of what you're having.  My sister was horribly sick during all of her pregnancies.. she had all boys.  I was pretty sick up until around 4 months.. I'm having a girl.
  • i had occasional queasiness but it didn't affect any normal activities at all.  so i'd say no morning sickness.  having a boy. i know its not an exact science by any means but i've heard there is less morning sickness with boys....however my sister in law is also pregnant and was feeling pretty disgusting 1st tri and is having a boy too.

Same. I had the same horrible m/s as my mom and she had all girls and we are having a boy. I don't believe any of the OWTs.. they were all pretty much wrong for me!
