Infertility

My dogs won't leave me alone!!

So, my doctor said that after the ET yesterday, I need to restrict myself from lifting anything that is over 5 pounds, and keep my dogs away from my belly.  So, for the past few days, while sitting around the house, I've been putting a pillow over my belly just in case someone gets frisky.

We have three mongrels... a pug/chihuahua mix, a full bred pug and a JRT.  The mix is a really good girl and never really tries to jump on us.  She's content sitting right next to you.  The JRT is a total fool and I've been keeping him at an arm's distance.  The pug is where the problem is.  To be perfectly honest, he's my favorite.  I'm sorry, but yes, I have a favorite.  It is like he's my little doggie soul mate :)  Anyway, he's totally distraught that he isn't allowed to be on me.  Plus, he's the only one that can't jump up on the sofa where I'm sitting, so he starts pawing at me over and over to pick him up.  Fortunately, when I reach over, he actually starts to jump up on his own, so I never really have to pick him up... I think he just likes to know that I'm there for support.  I usually grab his scruff and gently tug and he does the rest of the work.  Then, he will sit as close as  he possibly can to me.  If the other dogs try to get close, he will bark or give a warning nip at him...  Wonder if he senses something is up?  That probably sounds silly but, whatever ;)
