Good/bad about the Ameda Purely Yours Pump?

I know someone who bought it a few months ago, never used or even took it out of the box, and will sell it to me for $100. Its early for me, but if its a good deal and good pump I think I will get it.

I plan on going back to work at 3 months and will pump in an empty conference room. I am a little worried about noise, and would like a battery powered option. Tell me all the good and bad about this one...I don't know what can be so good about the Medela that makes it so much more $$.

Cons = parts are hard to find in stores, so you have to order online. But it's a great pump

i have the ameda and i love it! although, ditto what pp said about not being able to find parts in stores kinda sucks but still it's not that hard to order online. i would buy it.?

Ditto previous posters. I love my Ameda Purely Yours pump. Sometimes I feel like it's a bit loud, but I just put a blanket over the motor while I'm pumping and it muffles the noise quite well.
