Hi,
Just wondering if any of you knew if there is a big difference between the regular Ergo Baby Carrier vs. their ?Sport? version? If one is preferred over the other? My husband & I really want to buy one, but are on the fence as to which one is best.
Thanks for helping us on our decision!
Re: Ergo baby carrier vs. their sport version?
We bought the "sport" version, and to tell you the truth I am not a fan.
I think the white stitching looks really cheap.
We plan on returning it.
I too was on the fence and chose the Sport because it's made of a lighterweight material so we wouldnt melt in the heat, straps are longer and the hood is detachable plus it's about $10 cheaper.
I personally dont think there's anything wrong with the workmanship or how it looks so I'm not sure what the previous poster is referring to. To each their own I suppose.
A friend of mine has the regular Ergo and when she saw mine she thought maybe she might buy the Sport one since it's such a lighter weight material.
I have the ergo sport and love it. My friend has the orginal one and loved mine so much they now have both to use. The regular one is heavier and smaller, but has pockets which is nice. Sport is thinker, lighter, less expensive, its also bigger for rounder/taller pp.
