Maternity yoga pants? Fleece's?

Sorry if this gets asked on here a lot, I don't come over to this side that often but I have a very BR problem. We're going on a 3 week trip (leaving for CA next week, then fly out of SFO a few days later) and I was planning to wear my yoga pants on the plane etc but they have become, um, uncomfortable. Something about a wide heavy duty waistband isn't currently compatible with my expanding middle.

So I need new yoga pants that will hopefully fit for at least a couple months and would prefer if they were $50 or less (but I'll pay more if they will fit for a long time).

I'm also looking for a black fleece. This is currently a VERY out of season item in Tucson (since it's been 95 for over a month). I looked at the outdoors store, but they were too fitted to fit for very long.  I know I could order from LLBean or landsend, but none of my fleeces are from them so I'm worried about the fit issue.

Any suggestions on where to find such items?  Thanks!

Re: Maternity yoga pants? Fleece's?

  • I got some at Old Navy and I would wear them everyday if I didn't work.  They are the most comfortable thing on my belly that I own.  I have the capri ones but I think they have long ones too.

  • I have never seen black fleece, but I loved Old Navy yoga pants during my pregnancy.

You should come over more often : )

  • I saw the ones on the OldNavy site, but was leery of buying from them online because of irregular sizing, but with some recs I'm willing to try it. Thanks!

Sorry, the fleece wasn't for pants, it was like a zip up fleece jacket/sweater. Although I do have a pair of fleece pants I love (and are widening middle friendly), that's not what I'm looking for right now ;)

that makes sense. Its kinda pricey but i love the north face denali jacket. Sportsbasement has good deals https://www.sportsbasement.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=AC6W-F08!North

  • I bought a size larger than normal ifrom ON, since I was in the beg of the pregnancy - they still fit! Honestly, they are fabulous - and I too would wear them to work if I could! I bought two reg pairs and capri!
  • I lived in and LOVED the fold over waist yoga pants from Old Navy!! SUPER comfy. I folded the waist down in the beginning, up near the end, and loved how I could fold it up afterwards to hold in all the belly parts.
  • I wore ON yoga pants during my entire pregnancy, to work and everything! I think I paid $15-20 for each pair.

  • I got fold over panel yoga pants from ON.  They still fit me post-pregnancy.  They were a great purchase for all the various stages of PG.  As for a fleece... I'm not sure where you'll be traveling... but I made it through a CA winter with no-PG jackets by just wearing them and not zipping them up.  It really was never THAT cold (and I wasn't outside THAT much) to need to close the jacket all the way.  HTH!  (Good to see you on this board too!!).

  • Thanks everyone. I'll hit ON tonight and see if they have them in store (my store has a SMALL maternity section) before I order online.

  • Thanks ladies! I stopped by ON on my way home today and got the fold over yoga pants, a maternity shelf bra tank (mine have been riding up above the small bump), and a regular ribbed tank.

Their regular ribbed tanks are going to be $2 on Saturday - limit 5, while supplies last.
