When people use their status updates to spew trite "advice."
Two recent examples:
Be your best today! Today is THE most important day in our life. Yesterday is gone and it cannot change. Without today there is no tomorrow.
Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful!!!

An occasional quote here and there isn't bad....especially if there is a subtle "f*ck you" in there. That I respect.
But there is one person (whom I obviously need to hide) who always has random peices of advice that rubs me the wrong way.

I love Lenloe's 30's movie quotes. I haven't figured out today's though! And I agree about the political commentary - it was especially bad during the election. "So and so wants you to vote for Candidate X!" Support whoever you want, but don't tell me who to vote for!!
