Her contractions are getting stronger. Her cervix though is thankfully unchanged, they are still waiting on the u/s. If contractions continue doc is going to start her on terbutaline, and steriods in hopes of buying 48 hours. She hasn't seen the doc yet this morning I will update you when she see's him and gets a def plan of action!

Edit: They are starting her on terbutaline and steriods now

Thanks for the update. I am keeping them in my prayers. 30 years ago I was born 7 weeks early so I know today there is even greater chance for having a very healthy baby (and Mom) this early. Keep us posted and I'm saying prayers all goes well.

I know I am so pissed! She told me they are really starting to hurt, I want to know what the hell the doctor is doing taking his sweet a$$ time!! They need to give her something to stop the contractions now before they get too out of control!!

Oh my gosh! I haven't gone through other updates on her because I just logged on... was it really her water that broke already then? I can't believe she is going to have Luke within 48 hours... I will keep praying for them!

No it wasn't her water, but when they checked her she was 1cm dilated and having contractions, so they decided to keep her overnight. Than over the night she was bleeding which is expected after an internal but it was a little too much bleeding. Than her contractions went to 3-5 mins most were uncomfortable some were painful. Than she just texted me 15 mins ago and said the contractions were starting to hurt a lot now. So now doc has decided to start her on Terb and steriods in hopes of buying 48 hours if they can't get the contractions to stop

Oh, thank you for the update! I hope that everything is okay for them and that the doctors take some action already!!

And as a bit of hope, like another pp, I was born almost 8 weeks early 30 years ago. I was just over 3lbs, but I was able to go home just 3 weeks later at almost 6lbs! Miracles happen. I wish them all the best!!
