Other than the fact that the flowers on bottom were supposed to be down a tier (the florist's assistant screwed up), it was exactly what I wanted.

No thank you! My wedding cake was completely messed up- it was embarrassing! We had a three tier cake with baby blue icing (to match our blue, white, and silver theme) and then we had the lyrics to our first dance song written around the perimeter of the cake. One top it was meant to have pure white calla lilies. I know I was being ballsy with blue icing, but (1.) I was 23 and (2.) I thought with only white accents it would work. Anyway, the florist messed up and made a multicolored flower cake topper. Need I say more?

I loved just about everything about my wedding except for the cake. It did not turn out at all like I'd wanted- probably my only regret was the baker we chose. But it did taste good at least!

I dig that cake and am actually impressed at how neat and straight the script is on the sides of the cake. It's really hard to do!

I think with the all white flowers it would have been cool. There's always a risk when you try to do something a little different. I still love the concept, I just want to puke every time I see those ridiculous rainbow flowers!

Well I have no picture yet. But my Uncle is making our cake and it is going to be 3 or 4 tiered cheese cake! YUMMY! I am not sure what flavors yet though.

There's nothing really special about my cake, but the story is funny. We got married in Vegas, so everything was planned remotely. They sent us a link to a website with dozens of cakes and we poured over them for weeks, finaly narrowing it down to "The One." Well, imagine our surprise when we showed up at the reception, and the sent an entirely different cake than the one we chose! Oh well, we didn't care. It was good.

Yes, I am but I live in MD now. My entire family lives up there so I come back for visits. I will be up there in July for a visit.

I don't have any good pics. However, we did something a little different. Our cutting cake was a simple little two tier with ribbon around the bottom and our white topper. Each table had a small round cake with matching ribbon around the bottom and fresh flowers on top. So those double as the cake and the centerpieces. I love the idea and am so glad we went with it. We were able to just order plain white icing cakes from the grocery store and my aunt pieced them together.
