I wasn't sure if you would see my comment about your picture below so I thought I'd page you.

It looks like your family visited "our" splashpad recently!  We have a picture of Madeline in just about the same exact spot from a week or so ago so when I opened the post and saw your picture I recognized the location immediately. 

I hope you enjoyed yout time there!  I love the fact that the playground has the coverings over it.  It looks like it will be some time yet before we see any real shade from the trees out here!  We've been to a couple other splaspads in Katy, and like the "whale splashpad" (grand lakes) too, but this one is just so close to home we are there the most.

    Do you live in that neighborhood?  How cool!  Zachary loooooves the splash pad and it's so much less stressful than trying to swim with him when I'm on my own.  We should get Zachary and Maddie together over there for a playdate!

    That sounds good!  The playground/pool/splashpad are just around the corner from our house.  We walk over there all the time.  If you do ever want to take him in to the kiddie pool there we've got our pool tags and can take visitors.  We've only taken Maddy to the pool a couple times, but she likes it.  We have a turtle float that Zachary could use there and you wouldn't have to bring a big inflatable float from home.  E-mail me sometime ... tkimit at hotmail
